We See Famous People: Alec Baldwin Bonding With Toddlers, Affleck's Diet

092507_alec_baldwin.jpg--Julie Balise of the Northeastern News spotted Alec Baldwin, shooting for Bachelor No. 2 (who isn’t?), saying nice things about toddlers and performing eternal damage control after he left a nastygram on his daughter's voicemail. Yes, Bostonist subscribes to the NU News feed for items other than its crime log, but we do love its crime log so.

--Ben Affleck was in town to preview the movie he directed, Gone Baby Gone, which has been getting solid reviews. But we're more interested in Affleck than the movie at the moment. Affleck looked surprisingly gaunt in the picture the Herald took of him at Ivy. (We'll link to it - we don’t reprint the Herald's picture.) Is he eating? If he keeps that up, he'll be mistaken for an Olsen Twin.

--We did not see Cisco Adler of rock band/reality-show stars/semi-celebrities Whitestarr. We expected Whitestarr to run wild at College Fest 2007 because that's what reality-show people do, but they showed up without a lot of crazy. Their frontman, Cisco Adler, who serially dates celebutantes like Mischa Barton, didn't even board the plane to Boston. But did Tony Potato, the band's sidekick/go-go dancer, show up?

--Beantown Bloggery, a great source for who's shooting movies where, caught some catering signs. Where the food is, celebrities are sure to follow. But Beantown Bloggery wondered what "Extreme Motion Picture Catering" means. Celebrities are prone to the strangest food fads …
