Every other Tuesday, the Middlesex Lounge turns into a hot spot when Hearthrob calls its cult following to drink and dance their weeknight away. Three of the best DJs from the area that have been doing this for over a year now, and Hearthrob has been known to bring in some of the best acts to complement the rising techno scene in Boston and, well, America. In addition to that is Basstown, a local collective of friends, of which I am a part, who book and promote local DJs and bring in global acts with the mission to spread the party vibe across the entire city.

Tonight is a particularly special union of the two, as UK producer/DJ Sinden flies in to play the Middlesex with Hearthrob DJs Red Foxx, Baltimoroder, and Providence's Morgan Louis. With some well-played original material, Sinden has had a slew of successful remixes--some names include Lady Sovereign, Plan B, Basement Jaxx, Chromeo, Switch, and Bonde Do Role--and co-runs Counterfeet, a label with Switch, who produced the most recent M.I.A. album, Kala. Hearthrob often touts the warning "Come Early!" but, this time, you should take it seriously. The next time Sinden comes to Boston, he will probably be bigger than five Middlesex Lounges put together, so get yourself into this for a memorable night.
