MittWatch: Battle of the First Ladies at Playboy

It was bound to happen that someone was going to comment on the looks of former First Lady of Massachusetts and aspiring First Lady for the United States Ann Romney. Mitt and Ann Romney are good-looking in that ever-so-wholesome, corn-fed kind of way.

It's also not surprising that Playboy tackles the subject of First Lady Hotness by asking which one is sexiest. But it is surprising that they included Bill Clinton in the poll - and Bill Clinton, looking mighty sleek these days, whupped Ann Romney 653 to 568.

Where to begin? Well, this poll is perhaps the silliest in existence. And the contest seems rigged, as that photo of Ann Romney makes her look like a sourpuss.

Wonkette was all over this one, of course, and they surmised that "Playboy 'readers' are all finally coming to grips with their homoerotic impulses, or something." Perhaps. Or does it mean that men and women have come a long way, baby - so to speak - thanks to equal-opportunity objectification?
