Boston Blotter: He Got Cut From the Blue Man Group Auditions

101007-blue-man-group.jpg--A Framingham tagger got caught because he still had blue paint on his hands* when the cops found him. According to police, Josh Kirby, 31, of Framingham "He claimed he was an artist and it was just like an addiction, spray painting." Next time, bring the soap.

--The BPD arrested 20-year-old Rohan Gomes, of Roslindale, yesterday morning as a suspect in a shooting that took place in Jamaica Plain on September 2. An officer was working a detail on Iffley Road and recognized Gomes as wanted.

--A man was stabbed yesterday morning on Blue Hill Avenue. He told police, “Some Hispanic dude ran up to me and stabbed me.” "Some Hispanic dude" doesn't exactly narrow the field, but the victim added that the "dude" was wearing jeans and a blue hooded T. Police arrested 40-year-old Ramon Castro, of Roxbury, who claimed that the victim was trying to get into his apartment, and he fought the guy off. Castro also said he didn't remember stabbing anyone.

--Robert Roy, 44, of Acushnet, was arrested for killing his estranged wife, Marni Roy, back in 1986. According to the AP, "Testimony from new witnesses allegedly tied Roy to the killing."

--Last but not least, the family that sells pot together, stays together. 76-year-old Francisco Romero and 32-year-old Frankie Rodriguez were arrested Friday after receiving a UPS shipment of weed from California.

*Everyone else has already used "Caught Blue-Handed."
