Should Jimmy Fallon Stay Away From Bang Camaro?
Actor/comedian Jimmy Fallon went a little "play some Skynard!" at a Bang Camaro gig at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. According to the Inside Track, Bang Camaro had to talk him down a little when he "demanded" that they play some Doors:
“All was going fine until halfway through the set I hear some idiot bellowing into one of our mikes,” said Bang Camaro guitarist Alex Necochea. “I look up and see Fallon jabbering away like a crazy person. I couldn’t understand a word he said.” After what Necochea called “a weird and awkward exchange” on stage, the band declined the suggestion and instead invited Fallon to become one of its 15-or-so lead singers. The actor agreed.
So everything wound up cool--sort of--between Fallon and Bang Camaro. But Bostonist is still concerned based on the theory we read at sports blog Hugging Harold Reynolds (via Sports by Brooks). Hugging Harold Reynolds notes that bad things befall Fallon's favorite team. Bang Camaro should make sure it doesn't suffer from the Curse of Fallon.
