Bobby Brown Watch: Bobby Brown Has a Heart Attack, Or Does He?

Drama, drama, drama. Massachusetts' favorite exile, singer/reality-TV star Bobby Brown, had a "mild heart attack" on Wednesday. At least, that's what his attorney said.

Now, Brown is saying no such thing happened and that he was in the hospital for a checkup, not for treatment. Whatever his reason for being in the hospital, Brown didn't miss out on the publicity opportunity. The UK Sun has photos of Brown acting up in a hospital bed: "He uses the video message to tell his current girlfriend Alicia Etheridge that he loves her and then proceeds to stick his middle up at Whitney Houston."

Maybe Brown decided to dial back the hysteria a notch because he has a show scheduled this weekend, so he might not want his legions of adoring fans (using the term loosely) to know that his ticker is on the fritz.

Brown is only 38 years old. Even if it wasn't a heart attack, he's a specialist in rough living, so some of his body parts are bound to give out a little early.
