Beauty and the Geek: Our locals held on for another week. Tufts girl geek Nicole learned why bunk beds suck. She sleeps on the bottom bunk while her beauty male partner, Sam, enjoys the top bunk. Sam took another beauty, Rebecca, into his bed and started getting it on.
An outraged Nicole began to cry, not because she harbored any attraction to Sam, but because it is rude and an invasion of private space to assume that the person in the bottom bunk wants to hear Sam's mad monkey love.
But Nicole enjoyed her revenge. When Rebecca and her geek got sent to the elimination room competition, Nicole tricked Sam into sending Jen and William, who are stronger competitors, in there and getting Rebecca kicked out of the house. Unfortunately, Nicole's still stuck with Sam. A tipper let us know that Jen, who is turning out to be one of the smarter beauties, did an interview with her alma mater, Northeastern, and she fesses up to dumbing herself down a little.
America's Next Top Model: This week marked the cringe-worthy makeover edition. Boston Babydoll Sarah lost her long, brunette locks because Tyra thought she had a strong face. The short, angular cut worked, but Bostonist is still undecided about Sarah's new blonde haircolor. When it comes to her personality, it is refreshing that Sarah isn't all about drama, drama, drama.
Kid Nation: The producers whipped up a needless fight by encouraging the kids to start a regular religious ceremony. For the first time, Laurel got fed up and shouty because she couldn't understand why so many kids were upset. And then she blew up when one the bratty town council member refused to do any work. It's distressing to see such seemingly normal kid like Laurel forced to get nasty.
Survivor: China: After weeks of being silent, Denise the lunch lady spoke! And when she did speak, she didn't bitch like other tribe members. Locals taught her tribe how to fish, and she marveled, "This stuff here, that was the delicatest thing to have ever put in my mouth!"
