A 76-year-old woman crashed through the front door of Brockton Hospital this afternoon. Dr. Mark Vasa, chief of radiology, died, and a hospital secretary is in critical condition.

Four other people, including the driver, were injured. The Patriot-Ledger reports that the car pinned Vasa by the front desk. WBZ said that the car went so far into the hospital that it couldn't be seen from the outside.

A WBZ reporter also said in tonight's broadcast that, according to witnesses, Vasa was pushing people out of the car's way before it hit him.
