A woman from--wait for it--Framingham scratched her boyfriend to bits and tried to blame it on her cat on Saturday night.

The MetroWest Daily News reports that 41-year-old Patricia McNulty was in a mighty bad mood:

McNulty, who Ferguson said was heavily intoxicated, said they had just got a new kitten, which must have scratched the man.

The officers pointed out that the scratch marks were too wide and too far apart to be from a kitten, and McNulty said, "I don't need this. It's my day off." She then swore at the officers.

"I don’t need this. It's my day off." That is the best excuse for bad behavior ever. That deserves a medal! Too bad it didn't work, and she got charged anyway.
