More blotter--including an entry from the infamous NU Crime Log--after the jump! All charges alleged until proven under law.
--A mother was not about to let the BPD take her baby boy in Mattapan last night, even though her baby was allegedly aggressive toward the BPD. Police tried to take 18-year-old Kenneth Douglass, of Dorchester, to the station when his mother showed up and tried to walk in front of the police car as it left. During that altercation, a 17-year-old juvenile who may have been the woman's son and Douglass' brother started hitting the officer driving the car in the face. The two young men were arrested and the woman was cited.
--According to the NU Crime Log, two Northeastern students got into a Sox-Yankees argument early Sunday morning. Two unnamed students went into Willis Hall, and a proctor called police because one of them had a cut on her hand.
According to the log, "They said they had been at a party somewhere on the Fenway, but didn't know where it was. As they were leaving the party, they encountered a group of seven other females who were shouting anti-Yankees slogans. When one of the girls told the group to stop, she was thrown down the stairs, the girl with a laceration on her hand told NUPD." Booze and baseball never, ever go together.
