This may be a bit cynical of me, but do we know that they are real fans or just ''fans''? Is Chris Piela just a pink-hat dude or a life-long Sox sufferer? :)

Citing the appearance of Teddy Ballgame at the 1999 All Star game as a favorite baseball moment is a good start. However, it's almost like picking your favorite Wings album.

I checked out the People finalists last week and was under whelmed with the options.

Thanks Caroline! I'd be dinging him points too if an Elton John was one of his favorites... and I'm married to him. :)

Ah! I definitely intended that more as a comment on Elton John rather than on his musical taste. But the song title certainly fits given the state of the World Series. And he's hot. He has Bostonist's vote!

Okay..that was funny! The song does indeed describe his feelings for the team, and is certainly in no way his favorite song.

Here's the thing about the fans... Football we're all bundled up, got some winter weight on and are white and pasty from not seeing the sun for so long. Baseball we're out baking in the sun all summer, taking off as much as possible to stay cool... so we probably all just look better during baseball season! ha

Please do go to the site and vote every day for CHRIS PIELA 5x/ea visit per computer! GO SOX!!

It's the song that best describes the feelings for his team, not his favorite song.

Also, the MLB logos, links, and first prize of 2008 World Series tickets may be the reason why all the finalists are baseball fans. Oh yeah, and this: https://peoplesexiestfan.secondthought.com/register1.jsp
