Oddblotter: Hell Hath No Fury Like a Dunkies Addict

dunkin-donut.jpgWe're taking a brief jaunt south to Providence for this jawdropping Oddblotter entry. A woman didn't ingest her Dunkies coffee fast enough at a drive-thru, and she took it out on another woman in the drive-thru line.

Laura Defazzio, 27, received her order, but she didn't drive off right away. Denise DeMedeiros, 36, honked the horn--a reasonable decision given the circumstances. Defazzio responded that she was going to take as much time as she bloody well pleased by "emerging from her minivan with a crowbar."

Screaming and a fight ensued. WHDH reports that, at one point, "Defazzio then grabbed DeMedeiros' hair and began to pull away, lifting her off of her feet." The WHDH video wasn't loading, but the video we found shows Defazzio flipping out on DeMedeiros.

Here's the best part: Defazzio is a repeat offender. A month ago, she hurled cream cheese at a person's window while in another Dunkies parking lot. Maybe DeMedeiros got off lucky.

Not only is it rude to the person behind you to stop short like that, but it's rude to the people working the drive-thru. As someone who used to work at a fast-food drive-thru, I can tell you that nothing is more annoying than a person in drive-thru who holds up the line for inane reasons (except for the overall rudeness encountered on a daily basis).

Sounds like this woman needs some anger management classes and a reality check.
