Wellesley Student Charged With Stabbing MIT Boyfriend

102407-hunting-knife.jpgEarly this Tuesday morning, Anna Tang, a 20-year-old Wellesley student, snuck into her ex-boyfriend's Next House dorm room at MIT and stabbed him seven times while he slept.

The victim, Wolfe Styke, 20, is in the hospital. According to the Middlesex DA's office, Tang was found with a "buck" knife in her backpack, and her jacket was covered in blood. Apparently, she also wanted to get caught and told police "Here I am" when they asked Styke who tried to kill him.

Maria Cramer at the Globe went to court to hear more details. The Assistant DA said that Tang and the victim broke up three weeks ago, and Tang sent him "threatening e-mails."

Tang pled not guilty to the charges. Fox 25 has video of Tang in the courtroom. Even though she allegedly committed an unspeakably cruel crime, her face registered nothing but a blank as the lawyers did their work.

All charges alleged until proven under law. Image of a hunting knife from banditsbuckknives.com.

This story is inaccurate-this actually happened on Tuesday, not 'early this morning'...
