Thanks, Sox! Free Tacos Today Between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm

During today's "Rolling Rally," be sure to thank Jacoby Ellsbury for stealing a base and earning everyone in the nation a free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco. If you are looking for a taco after the rally, your best bets are the Taco Bells on Comm Ave, at Cambridgeside Galleria, and in West Roxbury.

Even if the promotion is somewhat absurd, at least according to the transcript of Royce Clayton and Coco Crisp at Surviving Grady, who are we to turn down free food? Unless you are a vegetarian or a vegan, don't be the person who is forced to say, "I ain't got my taco." Non-meat-eaters, don't feel too bad. The official rules say that the worth of the Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco is only $0.77.

If the endless promos of Taco Bell during the World Series left you queasy, you can commiserate over at Hub Arts, which has been following Taco Gate closely. You can also put your free taco toward the common good by heading over to "Donate Your Taco," a site that hopes to get Taco Bell to donate the cost of unclaimed tacos to fighting the wildfires in California.

Google isn't giving you the Taco Bell locations where it's a Taco Bell/KFC combo, like the one that's hilariously close to all the good restaurants of Inman Square.
