Boston Blotter: Arrest in Hansbury Murder
--Police have arrested a teenager who was only 14 years old when he killed 41-year-old Michael Hansbury on Monson Street in June of this year. The DA's Office writes, "Officers spoke with witnesses who stated that they observed an individual step up to the victim and assault him. Witnesses further stated the victim subsequently fell to the ground, hitting his head on the sidewalk." Hansbury died of the head injury.
When the incident happened, the Herald called the teen's assault a "sucker punch."
--A Quincy man escaped from Quincy District Court last night. Sean Ciulla, 47, had been charged with shoplifting. He's shackled, so he shouldn't be that hard to find. We can't wait to hear how a shackled man got away from the police so easily.
--Someone's little darling let loose pepper spray at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Dorchester this afternoon. The school was evacuated, and WCVB reports that four students were treated at the scene for irritated eyes.
All charges alleged until proven under law.
