Boston Blotter: Ed Wants to Talk to You

--Police Commissioner Edward Davis has reacted to the information that corruption in the Boston Police Department might have extended beyond former officer Roberto Pulido and his sketchy crew. He even put a video on YouTube declaring that he will investigate the allegations. He said, "I will continue to press for the strictest sanctions against police corruption so that the excellent police work that I see every day from our officers will not be tarnished."

The full statement is available at BPD News.

--DA Dan Conley announced that 20-year-old Robert Iacoviello, Jr., will be arraigned Tuesday for the late September murder of Revere police officer Dan Talbot. Iacoviello is already in jail on unrelated charges. According to the DA, Derek Lodie, who was arrested as an accessory to the murder, contacted Iacoviello when he felt hassled by Talbot and his friends, who were off-duty and hanging out behind Revere High. Iacoviello joined Lodie and returned to the school, where Iacoviello allegedly shot Talbot in the head.

--A 14-year-old boy from Somerville called police about a fake shooting at the Kennedy School yesterday morning. Police acted as if it were real and arrested the kid.

--It was the Day of the Teenager on the BPD Blotter. A BPD officer had to deal with two preteens who were pitching pencils out a school bus window. They "yelled and sweared" at the officer and were busted for Resisting Arrest. Six teenagers who were packing knives and pot were arrested for trespassing at West Roxbury High. And two teenagers were arrested for stealing bicycles.

--Two men in Fitchburg posing as workers for the water company broke into an elderly woman's home, tied her up, and robbed her on Tuesday. They went to her home twice before, not doing anything but probably casing the joint. They are still at large.

All charges alleged until proven under law. Video posted on BPD News.
