--The person who died when a BPD cruiser struck her car yesterday has been identified as Annemarie McNally, 36, of South Boston. The officer was responding to a call when he hit her car. One witness told the Herald: "I hate to talk bad about the hurt, but she was flying. The cop was behind her. I don’t know if she hit a curb or what, but the back of her car kind of lifted. Then the cop hit it. She flipped in the air and landed there.”
--This would qualify as Oddblotter, but it's on the scary side if put in the context of Father David Ajemian's arrest for stalking Conan O'Brien. 41-year-old Cheryl Richards from Foxboro wouldn't take no for an answer yesterday when security wouldn't let her into Gillette Stadium. So she drove her car through a security gate and onto the New England Patriots practice field. No one got hurt. WCVB has a picture of Richrads' car--she apparently kept going even though the gate completely obscured her view.
Richards said she wanted to see Chris Slade, a Patriots linebacker. There's only one problem--Slade doesn't play for the Patriots anymore. In fact, he doesn't even play pro football anymore.
