A kind tipster sent along an e-mail announcing a special website devoted to David, the Somerville LARPer who is currently competing on "Beauty and the Geek." Some of David's college friends have decided to give their friend a boost and find him a date. They have built the site in his honor, and they list all kinds of reasons why a woman want to meet him in person.
If you are interested in a geek with a chest wax who can do roundoff back-handsprings while drunk, David's friends aren't willing to accept just anybody. They have assembled a detailed application form with more questions than you'd find on the average dating show. One question is "Which celebrity or fictional character do you most resemble PHYSICALLY? Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Nicole from the Fall 2007 season of "Beauty and the Geek", Conan O'Brien, Gaius Baltar, or Dick Cheney."
Ladies, be careful. If the previews for next week's show are any indication, Nicole from "Beauty & the Geek" might be your actual competition.
