More info

ImprovBoston is moving from Inman Square to Central Square, on Prospect by The Field. The plans are already set in motion, but they need money to fund the move to the new space, and they are working hard for the bucks. They began a Funny Money Capital Campaign, and they've taken advantage of Movember, growing facial hair to convince you of their dedication.

This Sunday, ImprovBoston is launching a full-on charm offensive to get you to open your wallet. They are holding a benefit dinner at UpStairs on the Square. If a bevy of moustaches, the Groaners for Donors Joke-a-Thon, and an improv performance during a single three-course meal can't get you to contribute, nothing will. The options for the meal have improv-appropriate titles, such as "Chicken Schtick," "Something Smells Fishy," and "Oversized Whoopie Cushion Pie." Check the ImprovBoston site for the full menu, which includes vegetarian options.

Daddy Warbucks types can also sponsor participants in Groaners for Doners and participate in a silent auction. ImprovBoston hasn't forgotten those of us on a budget--you can catch the show without the meal for $10.
