Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney may be trying to tell potential voters to set his Mormon faith aside, but one large chunk of the voting bloc is speaking out about Romney's beliefs. The Osmonds, that legendary Mormon entertainment dynasty, have so many members it's difficult to count them all, but they're welcoming Romney into the fold.
In one of the least shocking semi-endorsements of all time, Donny and Marie Osmond delivered a positive evaluation of Mitt Romney on Larry King. They did not say flat out that they endorsed him, but Donny, Marie, and all the other Osmonds are liking what they see.
Marie Osmond drew a parallel between Romney and JFK. It would be easy to go all Lloyd Benson on Marie and say, "I knew JFK, and Romney is no JFK," but she meant that people are leery of Romney, as they once were of JFK, because of his religion. She added, "I hope we've grown up since then."
Whether or not we've grown up, we can't resist the thought of the Five Brothers and the Osmonds collaborating on a tour of good, clean, toothy family fun.

YES Romney Mash-up!! I am so honored to work with such a talented Romney masher :-P
We need a new word for "good, clean, toothy family fun''. The new word is TOOTHINESS. Apologies to Mr. Colbert.
The bigger news from the Osmond visit to LKL was Larry outing Marie's kid as going to rehab. She looked stunned that he brought it up. Larry was insensitive, to say the least, to bring it up without warning.
I bet it would have come out eventually. But, she wasn't expecting it then.
