--The state appeals court overturned a 2005 reckless driving conviction for a man who drove recklessly because he had just been shot and was driving himself to the hospital. Uh, how in the hell did that conviction happen in the first place? Can you say FARK, "Stupid" category? [Boston Herald]
--The jurors of the trial that convicted black garbageman Christopher McCowen of murdering white fashion writer Christa Worthington are going back to court because racist comments by two white jurors and a black juror may have influenced the outcome of the trial. [Boston Globe]
--Also related to the Worthington trial: McCowen has accused prosecutors of withholding evidence that another suspect in the case had been arrested for "threatening two British tourists with a knife." [Boston Herald]
