Boston Blotter: Bodies Found at Harvard Medical School, Medford
--Someone made a scary discovery in the Harvard Medical School's new research building. Here's the Herald:
According to Fire Capt. Pat Nichols, firefighters were called to the scene because a jar of possibly toxic chemicals was found near the body. The man’s head was also wrapped in a plastic bag, he said.
The Crimson has identified the individual as a Harvard sophomore, John B. Edwards of Wellesley.
--A woman's body was found in a minivan at a Dunkin' Donuts in Medford yesterday. The body belonged Traci McGovern, 33, of Salem. McGovern was reported missing on Monday, and the Herald reports that McGovern may have died of an overdose.
--The BPD was extremely active on Wednesday when it came to guns, and that's beyond the shooting spree that left two teenagers wounded. Yesterday's blotter shows that the BPD picked up a sawed-off shotgun from a Roxbury 16-year-old, a loaded gun from 22-year-old Terrell Ricker of Mattapan, and a "high powered semi-automatic rifle with three high capacity magazines, two of which were loaded with 28 and 25 rounds of ammunition" in the Dorchester apartment of 24-year-old Roberto Rodriguez.
All charges alleged until proven under law.
