Oddblotter: Blasting the Phil Collins
The BPD is busy, and they don't need to be dealing with some trifling pranksters, especially ones who can hear it calling in the air tonight and who ask them to hold on.
Police received complaints about a man blasting music in the South End last Thursday. Usually, party music is the culprit, but the man had been possessed by the spirit of soft-rock icon Phil Collins. And his neighbors were hating it:
On arrival, upon exiting their cruiser, officers could hear loud music emanating from the above mentioned address. Specifically, officers could clearly hear the song, “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins. As officers entered the address, officers were met by several disgruntled neighbors. In fact, one neighbor stated, “Please do something about this. It’s like this every night.”
Police faced down Jonathon Nicholas Toledo, 22, of Boston. Toledo didn't want to go quietly, so police arrested him for disturbing the peace and disorderly. As Phil Collins himself would say, Toledo's been waiting for this moment [emotional pause] all his life. Hold on.

Phil Collins is the worst thing to happen to modern society. I will not back down from that claim.
Well then we can't be friends anymore.
Oh lord, Oh lord.
Michael please tell me its not true. I have an extremely deep-set hatred of all things Collins.
