Taglit-Birthright Israel and JDub Records is hosting a Hanukkah rock concert that will be held in cities all over the United States. Boston will represent at T.T. The Bear's this Saturday.

The Boston celebration will be split between rock and electronica. The Brakes are straight-up pop-rock, and press for Wailing Wall compares Jesse Rifkin and his ever-changing band to Neutral Milk Hotel. A listen to his music will back up that observation.

The electronica includes Simple People and Mocean Worker. Simple People is made up of Gilad Vital and Roi Levi, who are also members of Israeli group Shotei HaNevuah.

Mocean Worker (aka Adam Dorn) has an amusing video up on the Go Eight site. Watch these pasty people get their Flashdance on:

We're not usually as chock-full of video action, but these past few days have been as viral as it gets.
