Be There: Benefit Shows for T.T. the Bear's Bartender Start Tonight

December 6--Tonight!: B.O.D., Willie T & Dr. X, Doug McDonald Band, Roger Fisk, Country Doctors, Wide Iris, The Delusions, The Outlets. Show starts at 8:45 pm.
December 21: Jonny Pape, Auto Interiors, Joyce & Chick of Scarce, Downbeat 5, AdFrank, The Pills, The Shods. Show starts at 9:05 pm.
December 28: Jules Verdone, The Douglas Fir, Baker, Francine, The Gravel Pit. Show starts at 9:10 pm.
December 29: Keys to the Streets of Fear, Meghan Toohey, Thalia Zedek, Buffalo Tom. Show starts at 9:00 pm.

T.T. the Bear's knows how to support its employees. Bartender Jeanne Sheehy is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, and the club has teamed up with local bands to raise money for her medical bills.

As you can see above, many bands are stepping up to help out, and a Metro piece on the benefit concerts reveals why. Eric Doberman of the Delusions, who play tonight, praised Sheehy as a "den mother/concierge," and the bands playing the benefit shows are returning the favor.

Tonight the shows kick off, and T.T. the Bear's will break out the big guns when Thalia Zedek and Buffalo Tom perform on December 29. Get those tickets now.
