--Family members of firefighters Paul Cahill and Warren Payne, the firefighters who died in the Tai Ho Restaurant fire, have retained lawyers. Evidence indicates that the restaurant owners did not clean up grease in a kitchen exhaust pipe, which caused the fire to go out of control. [Boston Globe]

--A three-alarm fire broke out at East Somerville Community School last night. The school will be closed tomorrow. [WBZ]
