Boston Blotter: Drunk Driving on the Walking Path
--Yesterday evening, a woman was caught driving in East Boston Memorial Park--on a pedestrian path. The BPD Blotter writer, obviously thrilled to be back on the job after the recent technical difficulties, adds, "As the name of the path suggests, it is designed and designated for pedestrian traffic only." Yes, she was allegedly drunk. And in a Big Lebowski move, she showed officers a Liquor ID card when asked for license and registration. She was also an allegedly angry drunk and kicked one of the officers when placed under arrest.
--State Trooper John T. Foley, who was already in trouble for allegedly dealing cocaine, was arrested yesterday for having cocaine in his system, the Globe reports. Foley isn't a young renegade, either. He's 62 years old.
--In Natick, a man lost about $10,000 in the parking lot of the Natick Mall (oops, excuse us, Collection) on Monday after another guy offered him an amazing deal on a bunch of plasma TV sets from Sears. Only thing was, no plasma TV sets were to be found. WBZ reports that this kind of scam is common.
--A teenager from Dennisport was arrested for biting and burning a toddler a few days ago. According to WCVB, Anthony Delman allegedly burned the child on his foot and both ears, possibly with a lit cigarette, and also bit him on the foot. The toddler is now with DSS.
--Trucker Adam Leroy Lane pled guilty to charges that he attempted to attack a teenage girl in her Chelmsford home, the Herald reports. During the episode, the girl and her parents successfully fought him off. He was sentenced to 25 to 30 years and will be moved to New Jersey, where he will be tried in a separate murder case.
All charges alleged until proven under law.

Driving on a path on the park!
Reading between the lines it sounds like she was way over the limit... Christmas time - a time to cherish our loved ones and take extreme caution while driving; and as this case tells us - while walking in the park!
