Boston Blotter: Fleeing the Scene, Stealing From Church
--In Lancaster, an 18-year-old died last night after her Jeep was hit by a tractor-trailer. WBZ reports that the driver of the tractor-trailer fled the scene of the accident. Here's the description of the tractor-trailer: "A light red tractor, towing a white trailer, equipped with many lights. Police think because of the crash, there could be damage to the driver side, most likely in the middle or the rear.
--Someone stole money from the Harvard-Epworth Methodist church on Mass Ave early Sunday morning, the Cambridge Chronicle reports. It stinks because a) it's Christmas and b) it's the sixth time it's happened.
--The Crimson reports on a destruction-of-property incident not involving Lampoon members and Cambridge's trees. On Sunday, members of the men's hockey team allegedly destroyed an igloo Eliot House built, according to Victoria Kabak. It took ten hours to build the igloo. Now, that igloo looks more like mush, and at least one Eliot House resident called members of the hockey team "pussies." Go ahead--settle it with a snowball fight!
All charges alleged until proven under law.
