The Year in Mitt Mashups, Part 2: Political Mitt

As any Massachusetts resident well knows, former governor and Republican presidential aspirant Mitt Romney can transform himself overnight. One minute, he's the moderate governor of a liberal state. The next, he's a staunch conservative who claims that he somehow tamed the residents of that state.

In the second and last installment of the Year in Mitt Mashups, we'll look at the various disguises Romney wears:

An Osmond
Mitt Romney has never shied away from being a Mormon. This is one subject on which he has always been consistent. Of course, one of his first celebrity endorsements came from America's most famous Mormon entertainers.

Despite his effort to squash gay marriage in the state of Massachusetts, the Romney campaign somehow wound up advertising on gay.com. It was an accident, he swears. Then again, he was governor of Massachusetts …

When Romney finds his foot in his mouth, such as the time he mixed up the name of an opponent ("Obama") with the name of America's enemy number one ("Osama"), he plays dumb.

Mitt is the only candidate with the business acumen necessary to be the CEO of this country. We face serious fiscal issues. He has turned around dozens of companies, the Olympics, and the state of Massachusetts. The other candidates have not even operated a lemonade stand.

He is the only candidate with the personal integrity (yes, he changed his mind on abortion, just as GHW Bush, Henry Hyde, and Ronald Reagan did) to be an example for our children and grandchildren.
