MittWatch: Romney's Effect on Women

122107-romney-hair.jpegThere's so much to say about former Massachusetts governor and Republican presidential aspirant Mitt Romney's looks. His political views may be ever-changing, but one things for certain--some people find him attractive. And some people like to get a little closer.

First, an Iowa tweenager probably just becoming acquainted with her hormones got close enough to Romney to ask to touch his hair. Romney took her hand and placed it, probably to make sure that she did minimal damage to his coiffure.

Other, bolder women decide they'd like to touch something else, and they just can't control themselves. ABC's Political Radar blog wrote:

When asked about the weirdest moment he's experienced during the grueling Iowa drive, he cited the photo-line when a woman came up to grab a picture with him. But from the way Romney gestured, she also grabbed his backside.

Bostonist would like to imagine this gesture. And why on earth would he share it with reporters? Did he accompany the gesture of an ass-grab with a wink and a nudge? Apparently rock stars aren't the only ones with groupies.

Too bad his good looks aren't winning over the local papers--the Herald just joined the Globe in endorsing John McCain as the top Republican presidential candidate.
