Boston Blotter: Shootings in Dorchester and Roxbury

black-christmas-2.jpg--Yesterday afternoon, a man was shot to death on Geneva Avenue in Dorchester. According to WBZ, police are looking for a bronze or gold Lexus with three black men inside.

The Globe noted that this was the third fatal shooting at that address since 1990.

Another person was killed in a shooting last night at 68 Cedar in Roxbury. However, details are sketchy.

However, the Herald sees a glimmer of hope in the shootings--Boston went a "full 28 days with no murder."

--Mess with the USPS, and you will pay. O'Ryan Johnson reports that the United States Postal Service is offering a $50,000 reward if someone has any information on the person who held up a postal service truck and cuffed the driver to the wheel yesterday.

--A bunch of people will be getting GPS devices as presents. Only those GPS items may be hot.
