He could feel it, "calling in the air," so to speak, and he played it loud. Even worse, his neighbors told the BPD that it was "like this every night." He was arrested because he wasn't going to turn down that Phil Collins without a fight. Even though weirder crimes exist in this countdown, the original Oddblotter post prompted a lively conversation about whether or not Phil Collins is the "worst thing to happen to modern society."

They discovered that the family matriarch not only moonlighted as a plus-size dominatrix but that she also had a dungeon in the basement. According to WBZ, her dungeon was state-of-the-art: "The room was set up as a dungeon, with eye hooks screwed into the ceiling beams and an assortment of whips, chains, ropes and other items."

2. Penis for Lunch! Usually, road signs read "ROAD CLOSED," but some prankster reprogrammed a sign to say "PENIS FOR LUNCH." The stunt made people crack up and freaked out the uptight types because the sign happened to be by a Toys 'R' Us. The joke made local TV stations and newspapers blush, and the three tiny words set off an Internet sensation.

All charges alleged until proven under law. Image of the "Penis for Lunch" roadsign by Rob Larsen.
