Hollywood East: Alec Baldwin's Neck

123007-alec-baldwin-rashy.JPGSo a few movies shoot in Boston, and all of a sudden the city is Hollywood East. Well, a lot of movies stopped by here, and Denzel Washington's The Great Debaters premiered at Harvard. The New York Times called Boston the "new Toronto" as long as movies are concerned. Today, the Track Girls became excited at the prospect of Canada being jealous of Boston.

But who cares about that? All we care about is--what in the name of Pete is that on Alec Baldwin's neck? Why is his ear all red and crinkly? Is there a doctor in the house? Mike Adaskaveg at the Herald took what is perhaps the most unflattering picture of a movie/tv star of all time. Adaskaveg has a future in paparazzi because he found the kind of gold that oughtta be on Perez.

This picture immediately made us think of the Onion's recent masterful image of police "forcibly removing" a drunken, shirtless, pasty, and no doubt rashy Christopher Hitchens away from a trailer park in Tennessee.

The Herald had to know it, too, because they gave the photo of Alec Baldwin with his skin condition and his exposed tongue prominent coverage on the website's main page and with the article. Note that they didn't upload one of their pictures of the always-impeccable Denzel Washington or Kate Hudson toting around her kid.

Screengrab of the Herald's attempt to link a rashy Alec Baldwin to the Old Glamour of Hollywood. Really--was a picture of Denzel Washington not available?
