--Headline on WBZ: "Storm Fails to Break December Storm Record." While we don't want to be too hard on our local weatherheads, shouldn't that really read "Weatherheads Fail to Predict Size of Storm"? [WBZ]
--Civil unions will be legal in New Hampshire as of midnight tonight. Yes! Ceremonies will be "subdued" because New Hampshire isn't exactly the Ramrod crowd. [Boston Globe]
--Even though the NFL eventually let their rivals air the Patriots-Giants game Saturday, things weren't all bad for WCVB. They beat out WBZ and WHDH for the most local viewers. [Boston Herald]
--Do you know you're not the sharpest tool in the shed but still want a good job? Better start kissing up to the local politicians, especially Therese Murray. The Hayhurst family really polished Murray's bottom, and one member of the family will be the next person hired by the fire department, despite low-ranking test scores.
