MittWatch: Romney Totally Missed His Calling
If things don't work out for former Massachusetts governor and current Republican presidential aspirant Mitt Romney, he can always follow in ex-candidate Bob Dole's footsteps--as a spokesman for Viagra.
CBS News' From the Road blog reports that Mitt Romney had this to say about his wife, Ann:
“She’s a cute girl, I’ll tell ya,” Romney told the Iowa crowd that was packed into a small coffee house here. “She’s hot, too. Wow!”Romney then appeared to lick his finger and make a sizzle noise, leaving many attendees and members of the media roiling with laughter (and a few others standing silently with their mouths agape).
Okay, okay, everyone gets it. The still-sexy Romneys know how to keep their marriage spicy, yet they don't slobber all over each other like Al and Tipper Gore. What's their secret? Bostonist still thinks it is that horse mask Mitt Romney received from one of the Five Brothers, which was given jokingly--one hopes--to help Romney get some attention from his wife.

"Okay, okay, everyone gets it." that you dislike Romney. Point was made long ago. Who is pathetic now?
Well, I don't know that it is pathetic to dislike Romney. I don't even think it is pathetic to like him. He does say a lot of things that I think are unintentionally funny.
A quick question--what do you think of Romney? I don't want to get into a debate over Romney pros and cons but would like to get a sense of how others see him.
Hair.
Romney reminds me of Anthony Michael Hall's character from the Breakfast Club saying he's in the Physics Club thinking it's cool. Or trying to suggest to Judd Nelson that he had slept with Molly Ringwald so he wouldn't be exposed as a virgin. Romney wants to be everything to everyone and every once in a while he proves that he's not.
I'd never vote for Romney but I think he'd be a better president than ALL other Republicans. He'd certainly be well organized and I'm sure he'd make the government more efficient. I'm concerned about him on immigration and terrorism because he'd be too Bush-like in the worst sense of the term.
I discount the issues on his Mormonism. He's no fundamentalist and I'd debate how religious he truly is.
I think if I were a democrat and I just got elected president that I'd ask Romney to be my token GOP cabinet pick in some economy-related post (Treasury, Commerce) or Homeland Security, which appears to be a mess in need of some quality control.
