The fight over where Patriots season-ticket holders can sell their tickets is heating up now that the AFC Divisional Playoff is scheduled for January 12.
Jessica Fargen at the Herald is putting out the reminder that season-ticket holders can lose their privileges if they re-sell their tickets.
The Patriots argue that these practices make ticket prices too high for the average fan, but at the same time it seems that the Patriots don't want resellers like Stubhub.com getting in on the action.
If you want to get tickets through Ticketmaster, the presale for the AFC Divisional Playoff starts at 10:00 am on Thursday. If you are a season-ticket holder, you can resell your ticket at TeamExchange.
Your other options, even though Pats officials warn against it, are StubHub and AceTicket. The temptation will be too strong for people to try other outlets once the tickets are sold out. Craigslist is awash in tickets for sale. Some people with tickets should be admired for their creativity--one person is offering to trade tickets for a snowblower.
