Boston Blotter: Party Animal Night

crime_scene_tape.jpgLate-Breaking: BPD has released the news that a 23-year-old was shot and killed early this morning at the intersection of Bowdoin and Norton. [BPD News]

--Party animal night: First, a woman was escorted out of Hurricane O'Reilly's after a fight early Saturday and didn't get the hint that she shouldn't go back into the place. She punched a detail officer in the face. After she was arrested, she pulled a Pumkin and spat in the officers face. Elsewhere, this morning, a perp kicked in the door at Goody Glover's. [BPD News]

--In Brockton, a woman was shot, and three suspects led police on a chase that ended in gunfire. No one else was hurt, and the suspects were arrested. [WHDH]

--O'Ryan Johnson at the Herald wins the crime-writing award of the week for a line on Lawrence's crime decline: "Lawrence police didn’t just take a bite out of crime, they went to the violent crime buffet, scooped out a helping of aggravated assaults, robberies, car thefts and murders, loosened their belts, and chowed down."
