If you're into art, tomorrow's your night! MPG Contemporary Gallery is hosting the opening reception for the 10th annual New Art 2008 contest, featuring emerging U.S. artists within 10 years of graduation and with no gallery representation. Contest entries were due last November, and Rachel Rosenfeld Lafo has put together a strong, diverse collection of art from the submissions. Contest awards will be given out tomorrow evening at the opening reception, and the exhibition will be on display through January 26. The gallery is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-5pm, so stop by to check out top emerging artists even if you can't make the opening. Here's to art!
