Happening Tonight: Rival to Troll 2, Celtic Music Fest

011108-lohan-movie.jpgMovies
--Normally, Bostonist commends the Brattle for its impeccable taste in movies, but they are boldly venturing into stinker territory with the Lindsay Lohan polefest I Know Who Killed Me. It's listed as part of the Brattle's Best of 2007 series. The inclusion of La Lohan means we've entered an alternate universe. Midnight, tonight and tomorrow night. More info on this shlocker.

--The Harvard Film Archive is back open again and starting off with an Ingmar Bergman retrospective, "Winter Light." Anyone who is interested might want to read Reel Hub's "Bergman 101," which appeared when the Brattle ran its Bergman retrospective. (Hey, Bergman deserves many retrospectives.) For a list of all movies, visit the Harvard Film Archive site.

Music
--The two-day Boston Celtic Music Fest starts with Katie McNally, Kyte MacKillop, and Back of the Bus at Club Passim. 8:00 pm, $22.50.

--Tomorrow, January 12, the festival runs all day at with a Dayfest at Club Passim and the First Parish Church. The entire festival will conclude at 8:00 pm at the First Parish Church. View full Celtic Music Fest schedule for performers and showtimes. $15 for Dayfest, $25 for Dayfest and Finale.

--And if you want to get as far from a Celtic Music Fest as possible, the Wu-Tang is in Worcester at the Palladium. 8:00 pm, $45 (!!) at the door.
