Prank Your Pals With a MittGram

011508-mitt-gram.JPGMitt Romney is pulling out all the stops in order to get votes. First, he's talking about how he's going to rescue the American auto industry from the doldrums.* And now he's letting people leave custom voice-mail messages for their friends, frenemies, or enemies using his voice.

You can describe how you know the person who will receive the MittGram and specify exactly how Romney should greet them. Do you want him to say "hello" or "hi"?

Unfortunately, Romney hasn't recorded a lot of names, including a few common ones, so don't be too disappointed if your name doesn't come up in his database. Bostonist was disappointed to learn that you can't get Romney to say "Seymour Butts" or "IP Freely." (Darn those Romney operatives--they know all the tricks!)

Wonkette asks, "Is there any better way to get back at an ex?" It's also a good way to punk your Kucinich-loving friends. Leave your Kucinich-loving buddy a MittGram, and just wait to hear the following: "You won't believe who called me last night! That bastard Mitt Romney! How dare he? He must be getting desperate."

*OK, OK. Given his business background, he might actually be able to accomplish that goal. Never let it be said Bostonist doesn't give credit where credit is due.
