The past few days in Boston have been violent, and the BPD has its hands full. More information has come out about the shootings that happened yesterday afternoon. The most startling news? The three people who were shot in Roslindale at Metropolitan and Poplar yesterday--one of whom died--were in a car in a funeral procession for another crime victim.
According to the Globe, they were attending the funeral of Darrion Carrington, the man who was shot in the front lobby of the Canton House in Dorchester.
All charges are alleged, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out a connection. "Brazen" doesn't even begin to describe the people who are committing these crimes. However, it isn't clear if the Roslindale shootings are connected to yesterday's other shooting, in which a man was shot in Dorchester. BPD News says he is in critical condition.
The BPD is asking anyone who may have been on the #50 bus at around 1:16 pm yesterday afternoon to please contact them. Information is available at BPD News.
All charges alleged until proven under law.
