--A man was in court for holding a knife to the neck of one of a mentally disabled co-worker at the Lincoln-Sudbury High School cafeteria. The alleged attacker said he was stressed out by his job and told the investigating detective, "One hundred kids want chicken fingers." [MetroWest Daily News]
--Usually, domestic violence incidents lead to a trip to the hospital, but this time the incident happened at the hospital. A woman allegedly tried to cut her ex-girlfriend at Mount Auburn Hospital. The ex was working the desk of the radiology ward at the time of the attack. The woman took off, and the victim was treated for a cut on her arm. [Cambridge Chronicle]
--Also in Cambridge, a man from Lowell attacked his own wife with a shovel last week. Unfortunately, that perp was able to take off before the cops could arrest him as well. [Cambridge Chronicle]
--And so much for Cambridge being peaceful and crunchy. A brave guy fought back against a mugger while walking on Sherman Street. A white guy in his late 20s or early 30s in a "navy blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and white shirt" who seemed "drunk or high" got out of a Dodge Durango with a kitchen knife. The victim got cut on the hand while fighting the guy off. [Cambridge Chronicle]
All charges alleged until proven under law.
