Boston Blotter: MBTA Employee Turns Against Charlie
--An MBTA employee and a friend were charged with larceny for using fake refund tickets to squeeze $465 from the T. The employee worked in the Revenue Audit Department and allegedly gave his friend the fake tickets, which she would then cash in. An MBTA employee cashing in the tickets brought the incident to light. Now, the duo will appear on next year's crime report. [MBTA press release]
--A fight between two men resulted in a stabbing at Khoury's State Spa on the 25th. Police responded when the two got into a fight earlier in the evening, and then one of them returned and tried to finish matters off by stabbing his opponent in the back. He was arrested. [Somerville Journal]
--An alleged numbskull got caught after mugging a guy for his cell phone--after the victim arranged to buy the stolen phone from the perp. [Boston Herald]
--In Cambridge, a cab driver picked up $200 that fell out of a man's wallet at a gas station. The man caught the driver, and the driver gave back some cash, but not all, spewing some mumbo-jumbo about mixing up the victim's money with his own. Even worse, the cabbie took off and almost hit two pedestrians on Mass Ave. [Cambridge Chronicle]
--BPD News is down. Withdrawal symptoms are in full effect.
Charlie on the T is off somewhere, being disgusted. All charges alleged until proven under law.
