Thursday Happenings

Theater lovers! A rare treat - Part I *and* Part II of Tony Kushner's seminal modern epic "Angels in America" is in town and it runs until Feb. 10. It's about the painful disintegration of two relationships against a backdrop of greed, conservatism, and the discovery of AIDS. Presented by Boston Theatre Works.

Fringy Theater That Tastes Like Chicken!
Who can resist a play about chickens that advises, "Beware! Contains fowl language"? Useless Theater Company is premiering "Little Red Hen," a satire that takes on folk takes and the comedies of Aristophanes. Now THAT'S what we call fringe, people! Runs until February 3 at the Boston Playwright's Theater, 949 Commonwealth Ave, Boston. Written by up-and-coming Boston playwright Jon Myers, directed by Jennifer MacMurdo, choreographed by the dancin' darling Matt Kossak.

Music
Pining away for Joey, Johnny, and Dee Dee? We can't bring 'em back, but we can pay tribute. The Ramoniacs will cover your favorite Ramones songs, wear supertight pants, and spit on authority at TT the Bear's tonight. Jaded and Miskatonic start off what's sure to be an intense (and, at just $6, affordable) evening at 9:30.
