Maureen St. Guillen, a Brookline resident, feels the government should have done more to keep her daughter's alleged killer, who had a criminal history, in jail. [Boston Herald]
--Cambridge City Councilor Tim Toomey wants 30-minute parking meters phased out in the city. [Cambridge Chronicle]
--Spongebob SquarePants attacked the city of Yarmouth and caused a power outage! [WBZ]
--The local papers apparently couldn't take out advertisements with copy written before the Super Bowl, leading to awkward juxtapositions. [Boston Daily]
