Monday Happenings

Console yourselves, people. Go out tonight.

Puppetry!
The Bread and Puppet Theater launches a run of several projects at the Cyclorama, including The Divine Reality Comedy, the "family-friendly" The Divine Reality Comedy Circus, and a "cheap art" show. And, yes, there will be bread--rye brad with garlic aioli, to be precise. Boston Center for the Arts Cyclorama, 539 Tremont St., South End. Runs through February 10.

Movies
The Coolidge Corner Theater is celebrating the abbreviated career of Heath Ledger by screening Ledger's acting triumph, Brokeback Mountain. If you haven't seen Ledger perform and wonder what all the fuss was about, watch this performance that left audiences in awe. Phillip Seymour Hoffman worked hard for his Best Actor Oscar for "Capote," but Bostonist always felt Ledger was slighted when he didn't get the statue in 2006. 7:00 pm.

Sports
Distract yourself from the outcome of the Super Bowl with an entirely different sport. Tonight, the 56th annual Beanpot--in which the hockey teams of Boston University, Boston College, Harvard University, and Northeastern University rumble at the Garden--has its first round tonight. The major story line this season involves BU, which has a habit of winning the Beanpot but seems to be having some trouble this year. Harvard faces off against Northeastern at 5:00, while BC plays BU at 8:00 pm.
