Update: At least someone found humor in the hoodie.
Let the finger-pointing begin. Whose fault was it that the New England Patriots lost to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl? Tom Brady? Bill Belichick? Or was it ... Bill Belichick's new hoodie?

Bostonist blames the hoodie. Belichick came out in a hoodie with the sleeves cut off at three quarters, but the hoodie was in a hot-red shade that no one could miss. One look, and anyone could tell that hoodie was trouble.
The hoodie drew attention from many media outlets. From the news papers, the Globe (who called the hoodie "splendid"), the San Diego Union-Tribune, the LA Times, the Detroit Free Press, and others.
Bostonist wants that red hoodie torched. We want it dead or alive. The hoodie has got to go, and surely Belichick knows it, too.
Of course, there are so many reasons besides the hoodie, but the hoodie is just much easier to deal with right now.

Worst sportswriting ever.
Ha! Everyone at our party said the same thing from the minute we saw it. We were hoping one of those famous halftime adjustments would be to switch to the gray hoodie.
Man, all this blame and no credit: the number one reason the Pats lost was the Giants. It wasn't the panty model or TapeGate or hubris (well, maybe a little hubris...) or the hoodie. Any number of people could have worn any number of things, but unless one of those people-things combos was Brady-jetpack, the Giants played some damned football, with sacks and pressure and a few astounding plays, and that's why the Pats lost: because someone else won.
I don't think some of these commenters understand the concept of humor. Especially you, yuppiescum. Do you realize that your name is ambiguous? Do you fully understand the humor in your own name?
im sure this is partyl giselle's fault.
This is not the time for humor. The giants outplayed and outcoached the pats, and it's that simple, and there's nothing funny about it to me. Is that something that you can understand?
This is the time for humor. It beats the truth.
"We're only going to score 17 points?" Brady said. "OK. Is Plax playing defense? I wish he had said 45-42 and gave us a little credit for scoring more points."
Don't forget about the khaki pants that replaced his usual shorts/sweatpants. They could have been just as damning.
