Tuesday Happenings
Super Tuesday
Obama? Clinton? Romney? Huckabee? Are you getting them all mixed up right about now? Try to get untangled because today is Super Tuesday and the Massachusetts Presidential Primary. Vote so you can at least weed a few of these candidates out.
Find out where your polling station is.
Girl Scout Cookies
Warning: Expensive event ahead. For $45, you can find out what local chefs can do with Girl Scout Cookies, and proceeds will go to the Girl Scouts. Hotel Commonwealth, 500 Commonwealth Ave, 6:00 pm. If that's too steep, find out where you can pick up some Thin Mints from the Girl Scout Cookie schedule.
Music
--Rock band The Lights Out will hold their own Super Tuesday festivities tonight at the Abbey Lounge, where they will enjoy a residency this month. The band's guitarist, Adam Ritchie, tells Bostonist that the band will "take a poll at the gig and donate our take for the night to the crowd’s favorite candidate." 9:00 pm, $7.
--As part of the Boston Conservatory's String Masters series, Bonnie Hampton will play cello. Her program will mix pieces by contemporaries with Bach's Six Preludes from the Cello Suites. Seully Hall, 8 The Fenway, 8:00 pm, $10.
Books
Russell Banks will discuss his latest, The Reserve, at Coolidge Corner Theatre (via Brookline Booksmith). Megacritic Michiko Kakutani gave the book the old slice 'n' dice, calling it a "melodramatic B-movie from the 1940s." How on earth could that be a bad thing? In this case, a bad review makes us want to read it more. 6:00 pm, $5.

"Huckabee?" Please.
