<description>&lt;p&gt;To answer your justified &quot;WTF,&quot; I think my wording was off. I just used the word &quot;cleared&quot; to indicate that Garrity never had to go to trial. If he&apos;s innocent, he&apos;s innocent. I think that my alarm bells of suspicion go off whenever someone resigns following an alleged incident--and they probably shouldn&apos;t if they&apos;re innocent, right? We don&apos;t know whether he resigned of his own free will or if he was &quot;encouraged&quot; to resign.

About McGee, I am surprised that the story was so quiet after it was reported in Florida. Stay tuned because I think much more is to come on this. The Globe is going to have to address charges (all charges alleged) against one of their top stylish people!
