Rudy and the Red Sox are Topps!

Rudy Giuliani might be out of the presidential spotlight, but one of his comments regarding the Boston Red Sox is back to haunt him thanks to the Topps Baseball Card Company.

The supposed die-hard Yankee fan will be in the background of a card featuring the celebration of the Boston Red Sox winning the 2007 World Series. To refresh your memory, a reporter asked Rudy who he was rooting for last October and he said the Red Sox since he was an American League fan. At the time, many angry Yankee fans used the excuse that he was looking for votes in New England. That strategy sure didn't work.

According to Topps, there’s going be one card for every 70 packs. You didn’t think it would be easy to find, did you? For those of you falling for this ploy to up the sales of baseball cards, just look for America’s Favorite Mayor in the background of the pigpile while the Sox celebrate their win over the Colorado Rockies.

This isn’t the first time Topps added a little something extra to one of their cards. Last year President George W. Bush and Mickey Mantle could be seen in the stands and in the dugout of a card for Derek Jeter.
